Andreas Diaz Anderson
Is a Swedish-Mexican artist, known for his distinctly meticulously minimalist abstractions.
Andersson studies the depth and form of both minimalism and geometry, using traditional methods in his paintings.
His carefully thought-out trompe l’oeils are achieved through the use of working with textiles and different paint mediums such as: acrylics, plasticolor and aerosol paint on cotton canvas to achieve heavily formal compositions.
When viewed from afar, Andersson’s work may look aesthetically simple but the complexity of his work becomes clear upon close inspection.
Made with exceptional carefulness and arrangement, the works hovers between illusion and abstraction, evoking elusive fluctuations of physical, spatial, and conceptual
Depth.
To enhance this eect, he often plays with colors and textile arranged systematically. Adding an almost reflective.
Lea Marcaccini
Lea Marcaccini is a French/Italian mixed media artist, working with photography, drawing & collage. Born and raised in a nature reserve on the Pacific coast of Mexico, she has been surrounded and inspired by the abundant & diverse culture it has to offer. From pre-Hispanic art, Mythology, artisanal art forms, vivacious colors, spirituality, to its vast flora & fauna.
Her work is an exploration of various themes, combining her stream of consciousness with surrealism, nature, Mesoamerican folklore, melancholia, and duality. These subjects are conveyed through the medium of collage, with a feminine embodiment of intensity and transition, indulging in both the friction and synergy of color, used as a subjective form of communication.
Although having grown up surrounded by creativity, Her artistic career began at 19, starting with drawing, and quickly moved into focusing on collage, which became her favored medium.
Lea has shown her work in numerous group shows in the UK, Paris & Los Angeles, between the years of 2015 to 2018, as well as had a mural displayed in the Drake Hotel in Toronto. She had her first solo show in Mexico City in December of 2020 and has had her work featured in publications such as British Vogue, Vogue Mexico, ID Magazine, So It Goes, Based Instabul & Ingenue Magazine.
Pietro Pasolini
He was born in Brazil in 1992. In 2016 Pasolini moved to New York to study at the ICP. While in the US, Pasolini's work underwent a considerable change, evolving into a careful reflection on the way we perceive and accept our surroundings. His practice questions the notion of reality as objective truth, presenting it instead as an “ever-changing vortex”. Impermanence and vulnerability, essential characteristics of life, become the focus of his work that, through the choice of precarious materials, is predisposed to be reinterpreted throughout time. Pasolini's works are born through a close cooperation between the artist and nature and it is the proximity with the impermanence of the natural world that gives some of his works an evolutionary ability.
He currently lives and works between New York and Rome.
