Esteban Fuentes de la María is a Mexican painter who began his career at the age of four, with his first exhibition at the Erasto Cortés Museum in 1999. His contemporary art is known for painting birds, of which he says: "there is no subject that inspires me more than freedom, and birds are my favorite way to portray it". His talent has led him to present his work in the most important places in Mexico and other countries such as Europe, Cuba and the United States among others.
